Navtej Kohli Review the latest movie by Spielberg The Adventures of Tin Tin!

After Steven Spielberg’s last blockbuster Inception, his fans were speculating whether his latest offering The adventures of Tin Tin will be able to cast the same spell on the American audience. But like any other Spielberg’s adventure flick, TinTin also made a grand opening grossing $56.1 million in 19 countries and is expected to find its place in the US as well.

The story features a young journalist named Tintin (Jamie Bell) who sets out on a journey to solve the mystery after buying a model ship modeled after a legendary sailing vessel called the Unicorn. When TinTin comes to know about the story of a battle at sea and a long lost treasure, Tintin leaves for an adventure along with the hier of the Unicorn’s captain, Archibald Haddock (Andy Serkis). But to their surprise, they are not alone in this hunt. Another man, named Ivanovich Sakharine (Daniel Craig), who is on the hunt for the treasure too and won’t let Tintin and Haddock come in his way.

The film has been shot using the performance capture technique, and is the first of the reported trilogy that is going to hit the screens. Having been declared a smash hit in Europe, the boy reporter’s adventures will travel to the US, only after six weeks in December.
